Crystal Comparisons: Pick the Right Stone

Every comparison below is triangulated against three reference works in the traditional crystal-healing tradition. According to Judy Hall in The Crystal Bible (2003), the right comparison usually comes down to the user’s intention rather than the stone’s chemistry. Melody in Love is in the Earth (1995) describes stones first by the somatic experience of working with them; Robert Simmons and Naisha Ahsian in The Book of Stones (2007) describe them by lattice-and-element correspondence.
