What is a full numerology profile?

A full Pythagorean numerology profile is the complete 12-number chart calculated from your full birth name and birth date. It includes the five core numbers (Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, Personality, Birthday), three extended numbers (Maturity, Hidden Passion, Subconscious Self), the four Pinnacle and Challenge cycles, and karmic indicators (Karmic Debt detection and Karmic Lessons). Hans Decoz, Faith Javane, and Glynis McCants treat this as the standard professional chart.

Enter your full birth name (as it appears on your birth certificate, for traditional accuracy) and your date of birth. Notice the pattern: the calculation uses both your name and your date, because in the Pythagorean tradition the soul's signature lives in both.

What is the difference between Life Path and Expression?

Your Life Path comes from your birth date and describes the overarching journey of your lifetime. Your Expression (also called Destiny) comes from your full birth name and describes the talents and life-purpose your soul came here to express. In the Pythagorean tradition, both are central, Life Path is the journey, Expression is what you bring to it.

What are Pinnacles and Challenges?

Pinnacles are four long life-cycles each governed by a specific number-vibration; Challenges are the four growth-edges running parallel. Hans Decoz calculates them from your birth date components. The first Pinnacle runs from birth to age 36 minus your Life Path number, then each subsequent Pinnacle runs nine years.

What is a Karmic Debt number?

Karmic Debt numbers are 13, 14, 16, and 19. They appear inside intermediate calculation steps and indicate karmic patterns the soul has carried forward. 13 = resistance to change, 14 = excess, 16 = ego inflation (the spiritual fall), 19 = independence used to isolate. These are read as growth-windows, not punishments.

What is a Karmic Lesson?

A Karmic Lesson is a number 1-9 that is entirely missing from your full birth name. The Pythagorean tradition reads each missing digit as an area of life your soul came here to develop in this lifetime. Most people have between 0 and 4 karmic lessons.

Why do you use my birth name and not my current legal name?

Traditional Pythagorean numerology uses the full name as it appears on your birth certificate, because that name is considered to carry the original vibrational blueprint of the soul's purpose. Many numerologists also calculate a parallel chart from a current legal or chosen name to compare; your birth-name chart is the baseline reading.

What is a Master Number?

Master numbers 11, 22, and 33 are never reduced to a single digit because they carry amplified spiritual frequencies. If any of your profile numbers reduce to a master, the Pythagorean tradition reads this as a higher calling and a heavier responsibility. Not everyone with a master number operates at its full frequency all the time.

About this tool

This tool is based on traditional Pythagorean numerology. Results are deterministic, the same inputs always produce the same output, but the traditional systems themselves have not been validated by modern science.

Numerology profile calculations are mathematically deterministic, the same name and birth date always produce the same 12 numbers. The interpretations come from the Pythagorean numerology tradition systematized by Hans Decoz, Faith Javane, and Glynis McCants, and are intended for personal reflection.
