How the Crystal Compatibility Tester Works
This tool uses five compatibility lenses to evaluate any combination of 2-5 crystals: Wu Xing (五行) Five Elements generative and destructive cycles, Western elemental relationships, chakra alignment (same chakra focuses energy; distant chakras may scatter it), Mohs hardness gap (large differences cause abrasion), and mineralogical safety conflicts (selenite dissolves in water; copper-bearing stones cross-contaminate).

Can I wear amethyst and citrine together?
Yes, amethyst and citrine are both quartz varieties and harmonize beautifully. They share the same crystalline structure and pair as ametrine in nature. The combination supports both spiritual clarity (amethyst) and confident manifestation (citrine).
Can I cleanse selenite and malachite in the same water bath?
No. Selenite dissolves in water, so it cannot be water-cleansed at all. Malachite contains copper that leaches in water, so it also cannot be water-cleansed. Both stones must be cleansed with sage smoke, sound, or moonlight only, and stored separately because malachite's copper dust can contaminate softer stones.
Which crystals should never be combined?
Physical-care conflicts to avoid: water-soluble stones (selenite, calcite) should not share a water bath with anything; toxic copper minerals (malachite, azurite, chrysocolla) should be stored separately from porous stones to prevent cross-contamination; very soft stones (Mohs under 4) should not be carried in the same pouch as hard stones (Mohs 7+).
